Occupational Health & Safety Technician (Mid-Level)

ERM is seeking an Occupational Health & Safety Technician (Entry Level) to join our consultancy team in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections to detect, identify, and assess occupational risks across client Argentina locations.
  • Prepare technical reports with recommendations and corrective measures to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate in developing and monitoring client Argentina's Health and Safety Service procedures manual, including the Annual Risk Prevention Program.
  • Deliver mandatory safety and hygiene training sessions for client employees and document employee certifications.
  • Perform environmental monitoring (e.g., noise levels, lighting, ventilation) and recommend corrective measures where necessary.
  • Supervise ergonomic conditions and recommend improvements for injury prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with Argentine health and safety legislation, including Law No. 19,587, Law No. 24,557, and applicable SRT resolutions.
Requirements:
  • Certified Occupational Health & Safety Technician as per Decree 1338/96 requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of national occupational safety regulations (e.g., Law No. 19,587, Law No. 24,557) and familiarity with international standards (ISO 45001, NFPA 101) is preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple locations in Buenos Aires and effective communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • This position offers the opportunity to support critical occupational health and safety initiatives, directly contributing to creating a safer work environment for all ERM and client employees.
