Job Description We are seeking a Circular Economy Policy Expert to support the development of enabling policies, regulatory frameworks, and institutional capacities for circular economy transitions in partner countries. The expert will work on analysing and developing circular economy policies, strategies, and action plans. Additionally, they will be responsible for supporting policy dialogue with governments, institutions, and EU Delegations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of circular economy systems, regulatory instruments, and EU policy principles. Key Responsibilities: Analyse and develop circular economy policies, strategies, and action plans. Support policy dialogue with governments, institutions, and EU Delegations. Conduct assessments of legislative and institutional frameworks. Draft policy briefs, guidelines, and strategic recommendations. Required Skills and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have: Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Policy, Public Policy, Economics, Sustainability Studies, or related fields. Master's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in circular economy policy development or environmental policy reform. Minimum 3 years working with government ministries, public institutions, or international cooperation programmes. Experience drafting policy frameworks, regulatory analyses, or strategies. Languages: Excellent command of English (required). French or Spanish desirable.
