Development of a conceptual description of offshore production chains through knowledge representation techniques, focusing on environmental parameters; 2. Development of mathematical tools for quantitative assessment of greenhouse gas(GHG) emissions along the production chains; 3. Conducting and supporting the implementation of case studies to test and evaluate the developed systems; 4. Support in supervising the Technical Training scholarship holders responsible for system development. The fellow will work within the scope of the Offshore Technology Innovation Center (OTIC), an Engineering Research Center (ERC) supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in partnership with Shell Group and hosted by the University of São Paulo's Engineering School (POLI-USP) in São Paulo city, Brazil. Requirements to fill to position: • PhD in fields related to Computing, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical/Electronic/Industrial Engineering (obtained less than seven years ago); • Academic or professional experience in areas related to knowledge representation, such as Ontologies or Metadata and Python programming; Required documents for application: • Brief curriculum vitae with academic and professional experience; •Add “Application to (PD1/HSE6)” to the subject. •Gather all required documents above and attach them in PDF format.
