Global Supply Chain Strategist

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Supply Chain Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of our global supply chain strategy, ensuring seamless product flow from factory to customer.

Job Description

Supply Chain Leadership

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global supply chain strategy that aligns with our business goals
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost savings throughout the supply chain
• Manage end-to-end logistics, including procurement, inventory management, and freight forwarding

Inventory Management

• Optimize inventory levels across multiple channels (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) to minimize stockouts and overstocking
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to inform inventory decisions
• Implement data-driven strategies to prevent overstocking and stockouts

Fulfillment Optimization

• Streamline order flow from purchase order to delivery across all markets
• Collaborate with 3PLs, Amazon FBA, and warehouses to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Ensure seamless restocks and product transfers across regions

Supplier Relationships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing
• Oversee freight and logistics operations, including freight forwarders and customs clearance
• Negotiate payment terms that balance speed with capital efficiency

Requirements

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in e-commerce or D2C
• Deep understanding of Amazon FBA, Shopify, and global fulfillment networks
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end logistics, from POs to last-mile delivery
• Strong Excel/data skills, including pivot tables and demand modeling
• Experience managing freight, customs, and multi-region inventory flows

Bonus Points:

• Experience working with high-growth consumer product brands
• Prior work in multi-market fulfillment (US, Canada, EU, Asia)
• Knowledge of inventory planning tools like Inventory Planner or NetSuite
• Background in cost accounting or experience working closely with Finance
