RYZ Labs is seeking a Sr. Analytics Engineer to join a client’s team, a personal health brand developing the future of daily essentials.

This role involves building and maintaining data infrastructure, focusing on dbt modeling, Snowflake optimization, and enabling self-service analytics. The candidate will work closely with business teams while upholding data engineering best practices. The goal is to bridge technical data infrastructure with business analytics needs.

Required Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of analytics engineering experience, especially in BI and data modeling
  • Advanced proficiency with dbt, including macros, packages, testing, and deployment
  • Deep experience with Snowflake, focusing on performance, cost, and features
  • Expert SQL skills with complex query optimization
  • Proficiency with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar
  • Experience with data quality, testing, monitoring, and documentation
  • Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and analytics engineering best practices
  • Experience building enterprise BI solutions and data warehouses
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Programming skills in Python or R
  • Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch
  • Understanding of marketing, product, and customer analytics
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with remote, distributed teams
  • Knowledge of data observability and monitoring tools
  • Expertise in warehouse optimization and cost management
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain dbt models for BI and analytics
  • Optimize Snowflake performance and manage data architecture
  • Develop dashboards and self-service analytics tools
  • Implement data quality and governance processes
  • Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to meet requirements
  • Establish best practices for analytics engineering
  • Partner with engineering teams on data pipelines
  • Monitor and improve query performance and costs
