Position Overview

We are looking for a highly driven and analytically strong Senior Analyst – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to join our corporate development team and play a key role in the evaluation and execution of strategic transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience in investment banking at a major financial institution , with a preference for those who have worked in or with multinational U.S.-based firms and possess native or near-native English fluency .

This role is specifically targeted for candidates located in Argentina , offering the opportunity to work with a global team on high-impact initiatives in the non-asset logistics and freight brokerage space.

Key Responsibilities

M&A Execution

• Support end-to-end M&A deal processes including modeling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction structuring
• Build and maintain detailed financial models: DCF, LBO, merger scenarios, and accretion/dilution analyses
• Draft internal investment memos, pitchbooks, target profiles, and executive presentations

Market Research & Strategic Support

• Conduct in-depth industry, company, and financial research focused on logistics, transportation, and digital freight markets
• Support the development and prioritization of target pipelines aligned with strategic objectives
• Analyze business cases, competitive positioning, and market entry opportunities

Cross-Border Coordination

• Interface effectively with internal stakeholders (Strategy, Finance, Legal, Technology, Ops) and external advisors (banks, legal firms, consultants)
• Provide analytical support during negotiations and integration planning
• Support communication across time zones and cultures with clarity and precision

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred

Related experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience at a top-tier investment bank or M&A advisory firm
• Strong preference for candidates who have worked with multinational U.S.-based organizations or global logistics providers
• Experience in non-asset logistics , freight brokerage , or transportation tech is a major plus

Technical Skills

• Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint; high proficiency in financial modeling and presentation development
• Deep knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and M&A best practices
• Familiarity with valuation comps, industry multiples, and transaction benchmarking
• Language & Communication :
• Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory—must be able to confidently communicate with U.S.-based executives
• Strong business writing and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize insights clearly

Preferred Attributes

• Exposure to TMS platforms, logistics SaaS, or digital freight solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a dynamic setting
