Overview

Be the technical gatekeeper at the factory to ensure world class service in order to meet IMPACTIVA’s clients’ expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for material, in-process and final shipment quality control according to IMPACTIVA’s Inspection Manual
  • Must be capable of learning and executing on a day-to-day basis very rigorous processes and procedures
  • Responsible for generating his/her own inspection reports using a laptop
  • Responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with all customer and shoe factory personnel (including top management and the owners) and fellow TM’s (Team Members)
Required Knowledge, Traits And Skills Knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the footwear industry including strong exposures to:
  • Different shoe construction types (especially, booty shoe type with cemented, good year welted and rubber boot)
  • Different leather types (especially suede nubuck and oil leather)
  • Operation sequence of upper making and full shoe
  • Last measurement
  • Sample inspection and final approval
  • Material quality control
  • Soles, components, accessories and non-leather materials in upper making
  • Cutting die and pre-production
  • Full shoe physical and chemical testing requirements
  • AQL (Accepted Quality Level) sample plans
  • Final shipment inspection and manual test
  • Full shoe understanding (from shoe making technical skills to defects’ classification) including finishing and problem solving skills
  • Footwear factory work experience
  • Final quality control inspection
  • Ability to identify esthetic, fitting, functionality and finishing

  • Location: As per business needs
  • Travel: As per business needs
  • Commitment: 2 year non-compete and confidentiality contract
  • Probationary Period: 6 months
