We develop high-quality software and hardware for various devices that are the heart of solar plant operations. We are actively seeking a dedicated and versatile DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will collaborate closely with software, firmware and IoT development teams, and field support teams. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in CI/CD pipelines, Security and Automation , with the ability to translate business and technical requirements into practical solutions. Your responsibilities include proposing and implementing effective CI/CD solutions for IoT software projects. You will design, maintain, and enhance the DevOps environment required to build images and compile applications for IoT devices, and you will lead the CI/CD implementation process, ensuring best practices and optimal performance. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure DevOps, Git, automation, and DevOps best practices to deliver a reliable, scalable, and secure environment. The engineer should be comfortable in agile environments, with strong debugging skills and experience using Jira for project tracking and management. Responsibilities Azure DevOps Environment Management: design, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps infrastructure for image creation and application development for embedded devices; implement best practices for resource provisioning, configuration, and monitoring. Security Key Management: implement secure processes for generating, storing, and managing keys for embedded and IoT devices; ensure compliance with security standards and protocols. Automation & CI/CD Pipelines: build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support development, testing, and remote deployment; automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring tasks. Collaboration: work with software, firmware, IoT and QA teams; mentor junior engineers in DevOps practices. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives; contribute to continuous improvement of Agile practices. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Experience: 8+ years in DevOps using Agile methodologies; strong debugging and problem-solving skills for CI/CD issues. Programming: proficiency in at least one high-level language (e.g., Python) and scripting (Bash, PowerShell). Technical Knowledge: solid understanding of authentication/authorization, encryption, Git, Linux, SSH. DevOps Practices: deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Security: strong knowledge of security key management and securing infrastructure; familiarity with cybersecurity principles. Problem-Solving: ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed systems; strong analytical skills. Communication: strong written and verbal communication; teamwork-oriented. Languages: English fluency.
