Drilling Superintendent

We’re hiring a Drilling Superintendent for one of our Leading MNC in Oil & Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Cambay-Gujarat.

YOE: 15+ Years.

Contract: 6 Month Contract.

• 15+ years of total drilling experience with either supermajors or midsized international independent E&P companies. The experience should be a mix of Senior DSV and Drilling Superintendent (3 years) or Tool pusher experience (5 years).
• 8+ years Drilling operations management experience as a Supervisor in offshore Operations.
• Extensive industry training and valid well control certification.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple drilling rigs at one time in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Leadership in all aspects of managing a HSE compliant operation without compromising operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with cost reporting tools/reports and cost verification procedures.
• Solid experience of drilling and hole cleaning of horizontal wells.
• Deep understanding of rig equipment and systems in use.
• Detailed experience of directional drilling techniques and equipment.
• Knowledge of drill bits, weighted and non-weighted mud systems, logging tools and techniques, P&A operations, etc.
• Basic knowledge of completions and workover operations.
• Understanding of applicable Government approvals and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Degree in Petroleum Engineering will be a plus.
• Basic PC skills (MS Office suite, Outlook, etc).
• Previous experience with COMPANY of supervising similar Operations is preferable.
