During the first seven-eight months, you will be also responsible for Compliance in the Region, while one of our employees is on leave. It will be a priceless opportunity to learn and get onboarded in the Legal & Compliance function in Region LATAM
The position will be based in São Paulo (Brazil).
As a Sr. Legal Manager, you will report to Vice Present - Legal, Compliance & Quality (LCQ) LATAM.
**The Position**
As Sr. Legal Manager, you will handle driving legal affairs across Region LATAM and be involved in various legal and compliance activities.
- Support LATAM business strategy and drive management of LATAM legal risks, through pragmatic and proactive advice
- Ensure adequate, prompt and effective legal solutions to LATAM regional office (corporate governance, multichannel engagements, competition law, intellectual property, counterfeit issues)
- Act as advisor and Business Partner on selected projects driven by the regional office (focus on Digital Innovation and Patient Support Programs)
- Contract management responsible for Regional Office
- Ensure efficient alignment of Legal activities/procedures and best practices throughout LATAM
- Act as Data Protection Responsible for the LATAM Regional office and as a point of reference for the affiliates with regards to Data Privacy
**Qualifications**
- You have a bachelor degree and is an experienced legal advisor with solid working experience in companies or law firms.
- You have excellent command over both written and spoken English and strong executive presence in dealing with senior stakeholders, personal drive with a 'can-do' attitude, showing proactive thinking and a "show the way" approach and ability to turn complex information into simple and compelling messages.
- Speaking Spanish and/or Portuguese is an excellent added qualification.
- You are armed with comprehensive knowledge of Novo Nordisk organization, products, competitors, risk appetite, and the pharmaceutical industry in general.
