Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Software Engineer with Front-end focus who wants to work on a cutting-edge product that powers application cloning and replay functionality. You will contribute across the stack, with a strong focus on JavaScript/TypeScript, DOM manipulation, and browser technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a product that solves one of the biggest challenges in enterprise software sales: failed demos. CUSTOMER This is a fast-growing SaaS startup founded in the USA in 2018. It operates in the demo platform domain and serves thousands of enterprise users worldwide. Backed by leading venture capital firms, the company values diversity, innovation, and a culture focused on action and real impact. Project The project is a cutting-edge demo creation platform that transforms how enterprise sales teams present complex software. Our goal is to reduce engineering dependencies, streamline the demo creation process, and provide customers with seamless, interactive experiences. At this stage of development, we are focused on developing core cloning functionality, optimizing performance algorithms, and enhancing our Chrome extension and editor platform. This offers exciting opportunities to work on high-impact features in a fast-moving environment. Our dedicated team of engineers, product managers, and designers collaborate closely to deliver production-ready solutions for a market-leading SaaS product in the demo creation domain. Responsibilities Develop and deliver complex features for the Chrome extension, editing platform, and replay rendering system Implement high-performance solutions for DOM diffing, tree traversal, and state synchronization Write high-quality, test-driven, and maintainable TypeScript/JavaScript code, with Back-end Django/Flask support Debug and resolve production issues and contribute to continuous integration pipelines Collaborate closely with product managers and Senior engineers to shape technical decisions and quickly deliver value to Customers Mentor Junior engineers, share knowledge, and promote the adoption of best engineering practices across the team Adapt to evolving startup priorities, contributing to both technical and process improvements Qualifications 7+ years of experience in software development, ideally within product-focused teams Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript with a deep understanding of modern programming language features In-depth knowledge of DOM structures, virtual DOM, and reactivity models (React, Vue, Solid, etc.) Proven experience with browser APIs, Chrome Service Workers, and client-side rendering pipelines Familiarity with DOM diffing, mutation tracking, and state synchronization Skilled at solving complex problems involving DOM structures, Virtual DOM, tree diffing, and state synchronization Experience with Back-end frameworks such as Django and Flask Familiarity with cloud-native environments, Docker, and Kubernetes Solid experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), test-driven development (TDD), and CI/CD pipelines Ability to make technical trade-offs balancing business needs and engineering requirements Additional Information PERSONAL PROFILE Strong communication, mentorship, and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams Passion for startup culture and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
