Job Title: LATAM Financial Controller Reports to: Global CFO / CEO Work Modality: On-site / Hybrid / Remote Level: Senior Management Position Objective: Lead the financial, accounting, and tax management of operations across Latin America, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and financial integrity in all countries within the region. Key Responsibilities: Oversee budget planning and control across all business units in LATAM. Consolidate regional financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS). Generate financial analyses and strategic reports for regional and global senior management. Ensure tax and legal compliance in each country, working closely with external advisors. Lead internal and external audits as well as regulatory inspections across the region. Implement and strengthen internal controls in all operating countries. Optimize accounting and financial processes, standardizing operations across LATAM. Provide strategic support for expansion, mergers, acquisitions, and business closures. Coordinate with regional and global treasury teams to manage cash flow, funding, and currency hedging. Develop and lead local finance teams, fostering synergy and operational efficiency. Requirements: Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields. MBA or postgraduate studies in Finance, International Accounting, or Financial Management preferred. Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate finance, with at least 3 years in regional leadership roles. Strong knowledge of tax and accounting regulations across LATAM countries. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and advanced Excel skills. Advanced English (Portuguese is a plus).
