Performance Measurement/KPI’s Domain Leader: Mechanical Domain Top 10 issues
  1. Continuous improvement of the Domain team performance for project/program activities (OTD, FTR, etc…)
  2. Respect of QCD work packages at the Domain level
  3. Design reviews performed on time and documented
  4. Compliance to Alstom Transport/Engineering processes & instructions
  5. Continuous improvement or Return on Experience (RoE) management from previous projects = zero missing RoE
  6. Workload management at the Domain level
  7. People Management cycle on time / Succession plan
Responsibilities

Accountable for:

  1. Ensuring the proper follow-up of the Metier Quality and Delivery on Domain Workpackages for the Site.
  2. Ensuring understanding and application of the TD rules, processes and tools (single-domain).
  3. Ensuring that design reviews (single domain) are prepared and documented as per the project/program schedule and to follow-up the main open actions.
  4. Ensuring proper collaborative work with other Domains/Metier/Departments.
  5. Defining mitigation plans covering a risk identified on the Domain scope.
  6. Managing the development of the site Domain team to ensure the adequacy of the capacity vs workload vs skills and the transfer of activities if needed.
  7. Defining Domain fixed costs and workload to secure project QCD commitments and formalizing hypothesis taken.
  8. Defining Electrical or Mechanical Domain architecture taking into account depending the domain: weight, gauge, installation strategy, acoustics, eco design, ergonomics, aerodynamics, aeraulic…
  9. Allocating adequate resources to the projects/programs/tenders.
  10. Applying and follow-up the People Management Cycle on time for Domain team according to N+1 and HR instructions.
  11. Supporting the Domain team in the resolution of issues and challenging actions (multi-domains) in particular those involving other stakeholders (internal or external).
Qualifications & Experience

Competencies: Mechanical Engineer, Office, 3D software skills required (CATIA, NX, Solidworks), Resilient, Good communication with Stakeholders and proactive, Team Leader experience (at least 5 years).
Previous experience: Preferably Rolling stock industry, Automotive, Aerospace, mechanical industry.
Language skills: Advanced/fluent English.
Travel required: Yes.
