The Tax Team at TikTok helps ensure that our company and all our products are tax-compliant throughout different regions and countries. Also, the Tax Team provides support to internal requests and works with multiple different stakeholders to support product and business launches and new features.About this roleWe are looking for a senior-level tax expert to support our rapidly growing E-commerce business in Brazil, Mexico, and other LATAM countries. In this role, you will provide expert tax solutions for business plans, and translate complex tax ideas into clear action points. You will work seamlessly with E-commerce teams and cross-functional partners around the globe. The ideal candidate should have a good mix of tax knowledge and extensive experience advising E-commerce platforms and E-commerce fulfillment businesses.The E-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space among leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated.With millions of loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. Collaborate with in-house tax teams and coordinate external resources to develop actionable tax solutions for new e-commerce products, features and operational events.3. Take and respond to tax queries from business teams as Tax Point of Contact.4. Periodically review existing tax solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.5. Monitor changes and updates of tax legislation, identify the potential impact on business operations, and prepare teams for the challenge in advance.6.
