Algorithmic Trader

Our client, a well-established proprietary trading firm, is on the lookout for a Junior and Senior Algorithmic Trader with solid risk management, quantitative, programming, and data analysis skills. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing algorithmic trading strategies across various financial markets. Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities Monitoring and Optimization:
Continuously monitor trading algorithms and strategies to ensure optimal performance, making adjustments as necessary based on real-time data and market conditions. Strategy Development:
Design, develop, and implement algorithmic trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities. Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and trading opportunities. Backtesting:
Perform backtesting of trading algorithms to ensure robustness and effectiveness in different market conditions. Risk Management:
Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaboration:
Work closely with other traders, quants, and developers to enhance trading systems and strategies. Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on trading performance, strategy outcomes, and market insights for senior management. Skills & Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field. Experience:
Proven experience as an algorithmic trader or in a similar role within the financial industry. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java. Experience with data analysis tools and platforms is helpful. Market Knowledge:
Deep understanding of financial markets, instruments, and trading strategies. Quantitative Skills:
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Risk Management:
Experience in developing and implementing effective risk management strategies. Communication:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Team Player:
