Staff Accountant

Responsibilities Assist Oracle GL accounts payable (AP) intercompany transactions (IC) and fixed assets (FA) for our Brazil office. Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts. Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual close reports for Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil. Monitor and report on monthly cash needs. Assist in coordinating AP taxes and other payroll payments. Process expense reports and payroll‑related payments. Collaborate with local tax advisors to ensure compliance with Brazilian accounting and tax regulations. Knowledge of withholding taxes on vendors (IRRF PCC INSS ISS). Collaborate with external firms for statutory financial submissions and monthly tax reviews. Contribute to month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end reporting and monthly reviews. Assist in miscellaneous accounting tasks for monthly submissions and reports across Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil. Qualifications Experience in Excel and ERP systems; Oracle preferred. At least 2 years as an accountant in multinational companies. Experience managing relationships with external tax advisors. Analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on compliance and accuracy. Fluent in English; Spanish a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of withholding taxes on vendors (IRRF PCC INSS ISS).
