Senior Consultant

ERM is seeking a Senior Consultant - Climate Finance (mid-level) to join our Sustainable Finance team in Brazil.At ERM we know that creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment is an essential part of making our company a great place to build a career.**Responsibilities**:- Play a leading technical role in delivering climate finance advice to investors and governments, including decarbonization and climate risks-- Manage entire projects or workstreams, reporting internally to Team Leaders and Partners and externally to client representatives-- Execute complex technical tasks within client projects-- Lead meetings and presentations to clients-- Write technical reports and prepare executive presentations-- Guide junior consultants and review their deliverables-- Contribute with proposal development and pitching prospecting clients**Requirements**:- At least 3 years of experience in a consulting role delivering climate risk (physical and/or transition) and decarbonization projects to financial sector clients OR 5 years of experience in climate finance consulting to corporates and governments-- Strong knowledge of economic and financial implications of climate change, GHG accounting, carbon market instruments-- Familiarity with financial markets and financial instruments-- Excellent writing skills in Portuguese-- Advanced level of English required; fluency desired to join international projects-- Advanced user of the MS Office suite, mainly Power Point and Excel; Power BI and other data visualization software are a plus-- Academic background in engineering, business or economic fields; post-graduation in ESG related disciplines is a plusBackground:- Since establishing our first local presence in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region in the 1990s, ERM has grown steadily, now employing more than 800 professionals across offices in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Guyana, Mexico, and Peru.Present in Brazil for over 30 years, we have been dedicated to supporting the transformation and growth of businesses driven by sustainability, with over 7,000 projects successfully executed.
