Data Management Project Intern
Campo Ma'an National Park
**Job Description**:
Location: Campo-Ma'an National Park
Duration: 12 Months
Position Summary.
Key Responsibilities.
- Assist in the management of data related to projects and programs.
- Enter, organize, and maintain data in databases and spreadsheets and regularly update this information.
- Assist in the analysis and preparation of data for use in reports and presentations
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on data management and analysis
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular quality checks and verification procedures for all data (Biomonitoring, Law enforcement, community development, administrative)
- Assist in the development and implementation of data management plans and standard operating procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and security of project data
- Stay current with scientific literature and research trends in data management and analysis
- Assisting in the preparation of project plans and schedules
- Conducting research and analysis to assist in project decision making
- Generating reports and documents to present project progress and status updates
- Assisting in quality control and assurance activities to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications.
- Minimum of a bachelor's in project management or related field Information Science, Data Science, and social science field related to conservation and development (Development, Project Management, Environmental Science or Natural Resource Management, Forestry).
- Knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft, Excel, R is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from project managers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software programs for data management and analysis.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Good knowledge of data management and analysis concepts and tools.
