Principal Machine Learning Engineer at BairesDev What you’ll do Define and lead the machine learning strategy and architecture across the organization. Oversee the design, deployment, and monitoring of ML models and pipelines at enterprise scale. Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and security of ML models and systems. Establish best practices, standards, and governance for ML model development, deployment, and monitoring. Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and product teams to align ML initiatives with business goals. Mentor and guide ML engineers and teams, fostering knowledge sharing and technical excellence. Evaluate and integrate emerging ML frameworks, tools, and technologies to enhance model performance and reliability. Influence enterprise-wide decisions on ML adoption, MLOps practices, and AI-driven innovation. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in machine learning, MLOps, model deployment, ML pipelines, model monitoring, and feature engineering. Strong background in software architecture design. Strong understanding of system security. In-depth knowledge of memory management and performance optimization. Experience in designing and integrating distributed and scalable solutions, particularly in cloud environments. Skilled in relational and non-relational databases. Ability to choose between different architectures/technologies, understanding the pros and cons of each. Advanced level of English.
