Job Summary:

As a Full Stack Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and optimizing Shopify-based storefronts, apps, and headless commerce solutions. You will work closely with our design, product, and engineering teams to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that our clients’ stores are optimized for performance, scalability, and conversion. Your expertise will help drive our mission to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions that enhance the user experience.


Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and apps.

Implement pixel-perfect front-end designs using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Customize and extend Shopify functionality using APIs and webhooks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.

Optimize website performance to ensure a fast and smooth user experience across all devices.

Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify and eCommerce industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Debug and resolve technical issues with existing Shopify implementations.

Work on headless Shopify setups and ensure seamless integration with back-end systems (e.g., CMS, PIM, ERP).

Write clean, reusable, and efficient code with a focus on maintainability.


Qualifications:

Proven experience with Shopify development, including custom theme and app development.

Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid.

Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Jquery).

Experience with Shopify’s API, GraphQL, and webhooks.

Familiarity with Headless Shopify architectures and integrating with CMS (e.g., Sanity) and third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, analytics).

Understanding of version control systems, especially Git.

Ability to write efficient, performant, and reusable code.

Solid knowledge of eCommerce UX/UI principles and best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about client needs and propose effective solutions.

Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a remote team.

Experience in Shopify 2.0 theme architecture, Extensibility, and JSON templates.


Bonus Skills:

Experience with Node.js or other backend frameworks.

Experience with Ruby and or Ruby on Rails

Familiarity with Shopify’s custom checkout and Shopify Plus.

Knowledge of SEO best practices and front-end optimization techniques.

Previous experience working in an agency or similar client-facing environment
