We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our global team as an Audit Expert. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced risk and audit specialist to contribute to the success of our organization by identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring the integrity of our processes, and providing expert guidance to stakeholders.
As an Audit Expert, you will play a critical role in enhancing our risk management framework by developing and implementing effective audit strategies, conducting thorough reviews, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. Your expertise will be essential in helping us maintain a strong control environment, prevent potential risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans, leveraging your technical expertise to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth
- Conduct thorough reviews of operational processes and controls, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate identified risks
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather information, assess risks, and develop targeted solutions
- Support the implementation of corrective actions, monitoring progress and ensuring successful outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal auditing, or a related field
- Master's degree in business, economics, or a related field, combined with relevant accreditation
- Strong proficiency in Business English (BEC B1/B2 or higher) and preferably one of the following languages: Dutch, Spanish, French, Italian, German
- Proven track record of delivering results-oriented audit findings, driving process improvements, and enhancing organizational performance
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, think critically, and navigate complex stakeholder relationships
Working Conditions:
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, global environment with a hybrid working model. You can expect to spend approximately 20-30% of your time traveling to support audits, meetings, and other business activities.
