Job Description Summary Our team is responsible for global instant payment services, including the implementation of PIX with four providers, as well as FPS (UK) and UPI (India). We operate in an innovative and challenging environment, connecting different markets and technologies. What You'll Do Develop and maintain applications using Golang or Java, following clean code principles and best software engineering practices. Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architecture. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine and deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs. Leverage AWS services such as SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge in day-to-day development. Use Terraform to provision, maintain, and evolve AWS infrastructure. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system robustness. Monitor application health and performance using observability tools (metrics, logs, alerts). Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Contribute to architectural and technical discussions, supporting continuous improvement and innovation. This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. Qualifications For this role, you must be based in Brazil Language Skills Proficiency in English at B1 level (Intermediate) or above. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 2+ years of relevant work experience. Technical Skills At least 6 months of experience with Golang in production environments. Experience with AWS services (e.g., SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge). Strong experience in designing and maintaining microservices architectures and distributed systems. Experience with REST APIs. Proficiency with Git and version control workflows. Strong testing mindset with experience in unit and integration testing. Knowledge of SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB).
