BID & Project Manager Join to apply for the BID & Project Manager role at Thales. The position is a hybrid model in the São Bernardo do Campo unit. Position Summary As a Bid & Project Manager, you will be in charge of specific bid‑management activities to ensure the successful delivery of bids within the Coastal Surveillance System (CSS) and CUAV activities. You will bring structure, clarity and governance to the bid management activities and manage projects according to defined objectives. Key Areas of Responsibility Bid Manager Act as the key element in bid preparation, bring support and contribution for bid negotiation with the client: Define the initial project baseline based on a viable solution and a clear project structure. Launch the solution direction and plan the upcoming project. Build, challenge and validate the bid proposal, managing risks and opportunities of the future project. Define main delivery milestones, consolidate costs and validate the global project toolkit. Project Manager Ensure smooth transition from bid to project phase and take part in preparation, organization and validation of the project launch: Identify key stakeholders, build the project team and shape structuring activities. Manage the financial aspects of the acquisition strategy, including “Make or Buy” decisions, supplier negotiations, contractualisation and contract execution. Drive the project launch review involving all stakeholders, managing the project plan, WBS, calendar and budget allocation. Implementation, control and management of the project: Launch work packages. Manage the project while respecting stakeholder commitments, risks and opportunities. Master requirements, deadlines and financial aspects throughout the project duration. Ensure project quality and stakeholder satisfaction. Manage legal and contractual obligations and litigations. Carry out reporting, project and phase review meetings. Finalize the project, archive documents, close expenses and share lessons learned. Minimum Qualifications Engineer degree. Experience in bids or project management in a demanding environment. Experience in an international company. Experience in military and/or aerospace fields is a valuable asset. Strong spoken and written communication skills. Proficient in technical document writing. Ability to work in matrix teams and be a real team‑player. Drive for new ideas and continuous improvement. Proficient in English and Spanish (speaking and writing). Open to traveling on a regular basis. What We Offer Elective Health and Dental plans.
