Position Overview
We are seeking a Showrunner to lead the development, production, and post-production of scripted and unscripted content across broadcast and digital platforms. This leadership role requires a visionary storyteller with strong experience in the film or television industry , capable of managing both creative and operational aspects of production.
As Showrunner, you will serve as the chief creative and managerial authority on assigned projects, guiding writers, directors, producers, and crew to bring the story to life on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all phases of development and production for assigned series or projects
  • Lead writing and story development, ensuring alignment with creative vision and audience and network expectations
  • Manage production schedules, budgets, staffing, and workflow across departments
  • Collaborate with executive producers, network partners, and creative teams to refine pitch decks, scripts, and episode outlines
  • Supervise casting, crew hiring, location scouting, and post-production processes
  • Provide creative feedback on scripts, edits, and final deliverables
  • Ensure consistent tone, style, and narrative structure across episodes
  • Act as point of contact between the production team and executive stakeholders
  • Uphold quality, efficiency, and compliance standards throughout the production cycle
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a senior creative or production role in film or television
  • Demonstrated experience as a Showrunner, Co-EP, Series Producer, or comparable leadership position
  • Strong writing and story development skills
  • Excellent team leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Proven experience managing budgets, timelines, and production logistics
  • Ability to work across multiple genres, including documentary, unscripted, scripted, or branded content
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with creatives, executives, and technical crew
  • Deep understanding of industry-standard production workflows, legal clearances, and union/non-union environments
