Fly in, fly out locum opportunity
Locum vet required for six months at an ASAV Accredited Hospital of Excellence situated in a large regional centre in Victoria.
For a six-month fixed-term commitment, the employer is offering the following:
- A work rotation of 4 weeks on (4-6 days per week) & 1-2 weeks off (negotiable)
- Flights/travel expenses paid, including all blocks of time off
- Accommodation provided
- $100 per hour + super
Warm, friendly team of experienced vets. Nurses at the practice are very experienced and highly skilled, helping vets' workdays to run smoothly by assisting with in-house lab work, catheter placement, blood collection, radiography and more
Vets can expect to work with modern facilities and equipment, including digital DR radiography, ultrasound, digital dental radiography, endoscopy, electrocautery, video otoscope, patient monitoring, anaesthetic monitoring equipment and a fully equipped in-house IDEXX lab, including Sedivue machine and more
The clinic is located in a large regional centre in Western Victoria. It is approximately three hours from Melbourne. The town has art festivals, musical performances, an art gallery, major sporting events and family-friendly activities. There are also many recreational clubs, restaurants, schools, parks and gardens. For the outdoor types, there are ranges, lakes and popular rock-climbing areas located nearby, as well as some of Victoria's most beautiful national parks and wineries.
