Overview

Our client is a construction and renovation services provider specializing in custom decking and outdoor living solutions, delivering quality craftsmanship and design for residential and commercial projects across the West Coast of the United States.

The job: a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations. This is a full-time remote role operating on Pacific Standard Time (PST), with flexible working hours. The ideal candidate has solid knowledge of QuickBooks, strong English communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working with service-based or construction companies.
  • Familiarity with job costing or project-based accounting.
