The **Sales Assistant II** is responsible to supports the sales team in all aspects of the sales process and customer sales support, including training and specification to Senninger products. S/he is responsible for performing sales activities and projects to support of the customer and the channel partner reseller, being able to go into the field to ensure total customer satisfaction. S/he assists the field sales and customer service team, acting as an extension of the external sales force to proactively increase sales and achieve sales goals, targets, and objectives.

**Essential Job Functions/Tasks**:
- Administers day-to-day communication of business issues relating to customer sales while also communicating with all internal departments related to fulfilling customer requirements.
- Assists with the overall organization of sales, customer service, and marketing activities.
- Attends field visits to dealers and farmers assisted by other salespeople.
- Assists in organizing trade shows and promotional events, including participation on these events, assisted by other salespeople.
- Assists in updating marketing and sales forecasts. Helps maintain sales budget tracking information.
- Assists in process control, such as product warranty, product testing and responds to customer sample requests, provides communication and organization of these activities along with appropriate follow up.
- Maintains customer contact databases and other informational requirements. Organizes technical and commercial documents and records.
- Helps to approve and process new business opportunities with qualified and interested sales prospects on a territory-by-territory basis, as well as to assist the sales force with tracking and reporting.
- Helps support development of necessary sales resources such as specification and data sheets, price lists, etc.
- Performs general office customer service, phone, and fulfillment duties.
- Keep in close contact with buyers, dealers, and procurement managers to determine needs to manage and expand sales revenue.
- Supports the overall organization sales, customer service and marketing activities to help meet sales goals and objectives.
**Qualifications**:
**Education/Training Required and Preferred**:
- High school diploma or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agronomy/Agriculture, or equivalent industry and technical experience is preferred.
**Experience Required and Preferred**:
- 2-3 years of experience in sales and design
- Knowledge in AUTOCAD system is desirable.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's) Required and Preferred**:
- Ability to self-initiate activities, work within timelines, work in a team environment, and work and coordinate with teams throughout the organization.
- Must have excellent writing skills, listening skills, organizational skills, and customer relations skills.
- Must be able to analyze reports and use data for planning, communicating, decision making and problem analysis.
- Experience in the irrigation industry desired, but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing organizational needs.
- Mechanical and technical abilities to assemble various tradeshow equipment and assets.
- Valid driver's license and driving record sufficient to meet requirements to be insured by company.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Intermediate experience in the sprinkler irrigation projects and others
