We are looking for a Mid-level Java Developer to join our team on an innovative and challenging project, powering our mobile application. Your work ensures that field teams and partners get accurate, timely data on their iPads—whether they’re viewing dashboards, submitting forms, or fetching data. Solid, well‑tested Java services are the backbone of our mobile experience. Responsibilities Design and implement REST endpoints in Java17+ with SpringBoot, tailored for low‑latency, high‑efficiency consumption by our ReactNative app; Optimize payloads and error handling to guarantee a smooth UX over cellular networks; Translate business rules (calculations, data submissions, flows) into reliable backend logic; Coordinate with frontend peers to version APIs and manage backward compatibility; Write comprehensive unit and integration tests (JUnit) to protect mobile workflows; Enforce coding standards via peer reviews and static analysis; Collaborate with DevOps to refine CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Terraform) for rapid, safe releases; Engage in sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement—help define which mobile features come next; Requirements Solid experience building backend services in Java 17+ and SpringBoot; Proven experience crafting RESTful APIs for mobile or web clients, with attention to network constraints; Comfortable diving into production logs and metrics to resolve live-site issues quickly; Clear communicator who works hand‑in‑hand with frontend developers to deliver seamless mobile experiences; Intermediate/Advanced English. Our Stack & Practices Backend language & Framework: Java17+, SpringBoot; Frontend Language & Framework: Typescrtyp / ReactNative (iPad); Data Layer: PostgreSQL (Aurora/RDS), JPA/Hibernate; Testing: JUnit; CI/CD: Jenkins, Terraform; Monitoring: CloudWatch logs/metrics, X‑Ray tracing, Grafana; Methodology: Scrum (2‑week sprints, backlog refinement, retrospectives).
