Regional Operations Manager, Trust and Safety

**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Experience in data analysis, problem-solving, scaled operations, and efficient execution.
- Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to interact with local stakeholders.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or scripting/programming language (e.g., Python).
- Experience in crafting compelling narratives to influence internal and external stakeholders, as well as presenting to executives in the organization.
- Knowledge of content moderation, DevOps, policy enforcement, customer support or policy creation.
- Excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to articulate complex policy concepts.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google's products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the resolutions of various policy related issues for Trust and Safety (T&S) Play and Android operations.
- Lead Trust and Safety and Google Play wide policy launches, and T&S initiatives in the region to ensure a safe app experience.
- Manage sensitive escalations, and drive operational improvement to mitigate the future risks, working with play partnerships, policy, operations, engineering, and product leadership.
- Represent the region to solicit stakeholder feedback for Google Play policies and operations, and drive cross-functional projects collaborating with the global team.
- Provide online, offline policy education for internal/external executives.
