
HR Specialist/ Senior Business Partner

We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive HR professional with solid generalist background and strong capability to manage both strategic and operational responsibilities. This person will serve as the primary HR contact for the Latin America region (Brazil, Chile, and Colombia), ensuring alignment with global policies, compliance with local labor regulations, and close support to local leaders and employees.
Your Responsibilities:
- Act as the regional HR point of contact for Latin America, managing Brazilian HR operations directly and overseeing compliance and HR alignment in Chile and Colombia
- Serve as first point of contact in the HR department to employees and managers.
- Coordinate payroll processes, hiring, termination, vacation and benefits, in collaboration with local BPO/accounting providers
- Create and review HR policies, manuals and procedures, ensuring alignment with global HOYER guidelines
- Advise and support local leaders on performance management, employee engagement and individual as well as organizational development topics
- Support the whole employee life-cycle hereby leading onboarding, offboarding, internal communication, and culture initiatives across the region
- Conduct recruitment processes when required and support local training activities
- Lead all employee relations efforts for the region in close collaboration with the local managers
- Ensure full labor law compliance and proactively mitigate legal and regulatory risks
- Support internal and external audits with regard to people topics, preparing documentation and reports as needed
- Supervise and mentor the junior HR assistant and apprentice supporting administrative HR routines
Your Expertise:
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years in generalist HR roles, with solid experience in payroll, benefits administration, labor compliance, employee lifecycle, and leadership support
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources or related fields
- Languages: Advanced English (required); Spanish at intermediate level is a strong plus
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Brazilian HR routines and labor regulations. Familiarity with Chilean and Colombian labor laws is a plus, data and tool usage ability
- Soft Skills: Excellent organization, strong sense of urgency, clear communication, results orientation, and interpersonal skills
- Autonomy: Ability to make decisions and act independently, escalating only strategic or high-impact matters
- Fixed Salary, compatible with the market, to be negotiated
