**Software Engineering Manager**
**Job description**:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Inspire and motivate the team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, effective communication, and successful project outcomes.
- Promote and facilitate agile software development practices, including continuous integration, automated testing, and iterative development. Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve software development processes and implementing best practices. This includes evaluating current methodologies, tools, and workflows to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of software deliverables.
- As part of operational management, you will proactively identify and manage risks that could impact project timelines, budgets, or quality. This includes implementing risk mitigation strategies, fostering a culture of risk awareness within the team, and ensuring contingency plans are in place to address potential issues.
- You will establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the team's performance and the success of software development initiatives. Regularly monitoring these metrics will enable you to identify areas for improvement, celebrate successes, and provide transparent reporting to stakeholders.
- Operational management involves facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the team and with other stakeholders. You will foster a culture of open communication, ensuring that team members have the necessary information, tools, and support to perform their roles effectively. You will also facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and cooperation across different teams or departments.

**You are meant for this job if**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent English
- Experience in software engineering, with expertise in Kotlin/Java, TypeScript, React, and AWS technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading software engineering teams.
- Extensive experience in software project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
- Proficiency in agile (Scrum) development practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in performance optimization, scalability, and security considerations.
- Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
