About This Opportunity We are looking for a midlevel fullstack Java Engineer to join one of our Global Engineering Teams in Brazil If you have experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot microservices, and Rest API's, we would love to hear from you This role is perfect for someone looking to take a "next step" in their career - you will be supported by an engaging manager and collaborative team members. Benefits include: Health and dental insurance Meal and restaurant vouchers Fixed monthly stipend for internet and mobile expenses Company-issued device (hardware and software) Annual bonuses Responsibilities Development and Support of Digital Delivery and associated applications Support, design and assist in planning team sprints and projects Support and maintain projects developed by the team and assist in production outages Develop new features and enhancements on the platform Test and certify release of code artifacts Qualifications Associate Degree, or, Technologo (Technologist) Degree, or higher is required. 3-5 years of progressive Java development experience including JSE, JEE in enterprise level scalable, distributed and fault tolerant environments, JMS Experience with SQL and DBs such as Microsoft SQL Server Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming/Design principles Experience with various platforms like Windows server, Linux/Unix Experience reading and writing UML (Specifically class and sequence diagrams) Familiarity with open source application frameworks Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience Flexibility to learn on the job and adapt to a changing environment Experience participating in the full lifecycle of projects, including effective use of version control, build management, unit testing, and issue tracking software (ex. SVN, Maven, JIRA, Jenkins, GIT) Experience in generating estimates & deliverables (E&D) based on requirements Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot Experience In developing Web Services/APIs (ex. RESTful or SOAP) and strong experience utilizing XML/JSON Experience with prepaid Cellular / Wireless services a significant plus Experience with high volume transaction processing design and development Experience developing within a Service Oriented Architecture environment Experience with data modeling methodologies and master data management Experience working within PCI and SAS7O environments Experience with application frameworks like JSF, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Struts, Microservices, PrimeFaces Experience with scripting languages like Groovy, Korn shell.
