Are you ready to take on a leadership role in an innovative and fast-growing company within the biosolutions industry? We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join us as the Head of People & Organization (P&O) for our LATAM region. As we continue to expand, this is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by shaping our P&O organization, supporting our growth, and fostering collaboration across functions.
At Novonesis, we are on an exciting journey of growth and transformation. Following the merger of two exceptional biosolutions companies headquartered in Denmark, we are harmonizing, globalizing, and digitalizing our organization to align with our global processes and policies. To support our expansion in the LATAM region, we are strengthening our P&O team by adding a strong leader who will set direction, mature and develop our P&O organization, drive P&O initiatives, and position P&O as a trusted partner and enabler of the business.
Our LATAM P&O leadership team currently includes two people leaders and two P&O Business Partners, plus a wider team of approximately 10 dedicated professionals placed across the region. Together, we are committed to building a cohesive, high-performing organization that empowers employees while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
As the Head of P&O for LATAM, you will lead an engaged and dynamic team committed to delivering on Novonesis’ purpose of bettering the world with biology by driving sustainable solutions through bioscience innovation. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence, employee engagement, and aligning regional P&O practices with global strategies.
You will inspire and guide a team of approximately 10 colleagues (two people leaders, two P&O Partners in direct reporting line), providing clear direction, coaching, and feedback to achieve goals tied to our global priorities. An important part of the role will be to mature our P&O delivery model to align with our global processes and principles. As part of the Regional Leadership Team, you’ll partner closely with the Regional President as a trusted advisor, driving adaptability, offering strategic insights, and championing P&O initiatives.
Globally, you will collaborate with five other Regional P&O Heads to implement key functional initiatives while tailoring them to regional needs. You will be part of important global projects with your global peers and collaborate and knowledge share on projects such as digital transformation, talent development, and organizational design, ensuring the region is future-ready with the right skills and scalable processes.
In this impactful role, you will shape P&O operations, align benefits and policies to both local and global standards, and contribute to key regional teams. Join us to help harmonize, globalize, and digitalize P&O practices, making a lasting difference in the LATAM region and beyond.
To excel as the Head of P&O for LATAM, you will need a combination of strategic expertise, leadership skills, and behavioral traits that enable you to drive impact in a dynamic and complex environment. Specifically, you should bring:
- Proven HR Leadership Experience with regional scope: at least 7-10 years in senior HR roles, ideally within multinational organizations.
- Strong Execution Focus: a results-driven approach to plan, communicate, track, and mitigate challenges while ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives.
- Leadership Skills: the ability to set a clear direction, inspire your team, and foster engagement to achieve shared goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: exceptional communication and connectivity skills to build relationships, influence, and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Change Management Expertise: experience leading teams through organizational change, including mergers, integrations, or large-scale transformations.
- Good Process Understanding: a strong grasp of HR processes and systems, enabling you to harmonize and globalize practices across the region.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: comfort working with data and metrics (e.g., KPIs, tracking, budgets) to analyze performance and inform decisions.
