Role:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying innovative products that facilitate seamless customer engagement.

Our technical stack encompasses Scala, NodeJS, and Ruby on Rails, with data storage solutions like Cassandra, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and Kafka. You will be responsible for service delivery, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code implementation using Kubernetes on AWS.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud-native microservices architecture.
  • Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code to streamline workflows.
  • Deploy and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across multiple environments.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team to leverage the latest technologies.
  • Iterate on best practices to enhance quality and velocity of deployments.
  • Sustain and improve knowledge sharing processes within the engineering team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in deploying and maintaining scalable systems in cloud environments.
  • Skills in automating repetitive tasks via scripting (Bash, Python, Ruby).
  • Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes, ECS, Rancher).
  • Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including IAM, EC2, VPC, ELB, ALB, Autoscaling, Lambda.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, Gitlab).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef).
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
