Participate in Groundbreaking Research:

We invite skilled electricians to participate in a pioneering research initiative focused on understanding complex, real-world activities.

This project is part of the Common Lives Project , which aims to capture daily activities through wearable cameras. Your participation will contribute significantly to the development of AI models that can interpret and learn from human behavior.

  • Record your daily activities for 5 consecutive days within a 2-week window using a provided GoPro camera
  • Capture a minimum of 7 hours of footage per day, allowing for breaks and pauses for privacy
  • Upload your recorded content to a secure platform, review clips, and consent or delete segments as needed

Participant Requirements:

  • Must work indoors in non-customer-facing roles (e.g., not retail or childcare)
  • Participants sharing the same workplace or household should both wear cameras during the activity
  • Preferably engaged in manual or creative work (e.g., chef, artist, carpenter, musician, mechanic)
  • Must be self-employed or have employer consent to record in the work environment
  • Able to use a computer for basic tasks such as reviewing and uploading video clips

Technical Requirements:

  • Must have access to a computer and internet connection
  • Comfortable using web-based tools for uploading and reviewing clips (training will be provided)
  • GoPro camera and all accessories will be provided for the duration of the project
