Location & Remote Work: Our technology team operates under a "remote-first" model, which means we work from home and can live anywhere in Brazil. We also offer the option of working from our São Paulo offices or partner coworking spaces, up to twice a week.

Responsibilities
  • Develop independent microservices that address specific solutions.
  • Own the entire lifecycle of your code.
  • Work with Agile methodologies and participate in ceremonies to contribute to team process improvements.
  • Improve the development experience by enhancing tools, test coverage, and code structure.
  • Handle incidents, troubleshoot, and debug software issues; create post mortems and take actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to high-quality code, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Continuously improve software practices to meet new challenges.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Agile development practices (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or JavaScript.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with software monitoring, observability, and performance tracking.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals (version control, testing, deployment automation, code reviews, design documentation).
  • Desire to learn and deliver high-quality, data-driven software while valuing work-life balance.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and knowledge of English; English used for code, documentation, and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of computer theory, optimization of algorithms, and distributed systems.
Preferred / Not Required (You'll stand out if)
  • Experience mentoring other engineers.
  • Experience designing and evolving software architecture from the ground up.
  • Developed scalable client-server mobile applications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
  • Understanding of modern CI/CD and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of testing and tuning scalability.
  • Understanding that work is ongoing and requires ongoing evolution of services.
