About the RoleAs a Software Engineering Specialist on the Human Data team, you will create data to facilitate the training of large language models. You will collaborate with technical staff to develop datasets for model training, benchmarking, and advancement.
Responsibilities- Curate code examples, provide solutions, and correct code in Python, JavaScript (including ReactJS), C/C++, and Java for AI model training initiatives.
- Evaluate and refine AI-generated code for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve AI-driven coding solutions, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Strong experience in Python or JavaScript; familiarity with ReactJS preferred but not required. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- At least 2 years of industry experience in software development or proven public work (e.g., GitHub).
- Experience with tools and systems like Databases, SQL, Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, gRPC, and AWS.
- Adaptability, logical reasoning, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Contributions to open source or high reputation on platforms like Stack Overflow.
- Enthusiasm for building advanced AI systems.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.
- Reliable access to a computer capable of running Windows 10 or macOS Big Sur 11.0 or later.
- This is a fully remote role.
- No visa sponsorship available.
- US-based applicants: note restrictions in Wyoming and Illinois.
- Must own a smartphone with reliable access.
- Indicate preference for full-time or part-time work in your application. Full-time is 40 hours/week, typically 9:00-17:30 in your local timezone, with onboarding in PST.
- Pay range: $55-$65/hour, based on experience and skills.
- Benefits vary by country; medical benefits may be available for full-time roles.
