About the role

As a Senior Fullstack Developer .NET, you will make an impact by working collaboratively with the respective teams to design implement and deploy web solutions for J&J internal usage. You will be a valued member of the Development team and work collaboratively with multicultural team.

Responsibilities
  • Use mainly .NET for daily routines
  • Develop and Maintain Scalable Web Applications
    • Build internal web solutions using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
    • Apply Tailwind CSS for responsive and modern UI design.
    • Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
  • Integrate and Manage APIs
    • Design and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js and Next.js API routes.
    • Integrate external services and internal systems securely and efficiently.
    • Handle email integrations using tools like nodemailer.
  • Deploy and Monitor Applications on AWS
    • Use AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2) to deploy and manage applications.
    • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated testing and deployment.
    • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Collaborate in a Git-Based Development Environment
    • Work in a collaborative Git workflow, managing branches, pull requests, and merges.
    • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams in English.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 1 or 2 days a week in Cognizant office in city, state. What you need to have to be considered
  • Advanced English
  • Bachelor's degree
  • .NET
  • React and Next.js
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend tooling
  • Background with Tailwind CSS development
  • Understanding of API integration using Next.js API routes or external services
  • Ability to work with Git in a collaborative environment
  • Knowledge in deploying applications to AWS
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines particularly using Jenkins
These will help you stand out
  • Background with Langflow or other visual workflow tools
  • Knowledge of Azure OpenAI or other LLM-based APIs
  • Understanding of prompt engineering
  • Knowledge with serverless frameworks (e.g. AWS Lambda)
  • Expertise in Node.js for RESTful API development
  • Familiarity with email integrations using libraries like nodemailer
  • Strong communication skills
  • A proven ability to perform as a team player
