We are looking for a Domain Architect Operations Technology , who wants to learn and transform their career, in a CLT contract, Remote , in the city of Belo Horizonte. Job Description: The Domain Architect – Operation Technology is fundamental to the architecture, governance and evolution of operational technology solutions and infrastructures in the mining operations of Brasil and Canada. This professional will lead the integration of traditional OT systems (SCADA, DCS, PLCs) with emerging technologies of industrial Io T, industrial cloud, advanced automation and OT cybersecurity. Its mission is to ensure safe, resilient, integrated industrial operations aligned with global digital strategy, supporting innovations in mining 4.0, sustainability, operational efficiency and digital transformation. He will work collaboratively with technical, security, IT and business areas at the multinational level. Main Responsibilities Define, document and govern OT architectures , ensuring alignment between industrial systems, automation, Io T sensors and integration with IT and Cloud. Design solutions for real-time control, monitoring, automation and analysis of industrial processes, ensuring high availability and resilience. Lead modernization projects, edge/cloud OT integration, digital twins, predictive analytics, cognitive automation, and operational security. Assess and implement global OT security standards (NIST, IEC 62443), vulnerability management, and industrial cyber incident response. Foster alignment between OT and IT teams to promote secure, efficient, and scalable integration of operational technologies. Develop and maintain technical documentation, contingency plans, operational guides, and OT governance policies. Participate in the definition of strategies for technological innovation, sustainability and reduction of environmental impact. Collaborate with suppliers and strategic partners on critical OT solutions, ensuring system interoperability. Train technical teams and promote a culture of safety and OT innovation in global operations. Requirements and Competencies Essential Requirements (Hard Skills) Fluent English for global communication between Brazil-Canada work. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computing, Industrial Systems or related areas. Minimum 8 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or operational technology leadership in industrial or mining sectors. In-depth knowledge of OT systems: SCADA, DCS, PLC, RTU, Io T sensors, industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, Profibus). Expertise in OT/IT integration, edge computing architectures, digital twins, advanced automation, predictive analytics and Industrial Big Data. Solid domain in OT cybersecurity, IEC 62443 frameworks, NIST, incident management and operational continuity. Knowledge in industrial cloud platforms (Azure Io T, AWS Io T, Google Cloud Industrial) and OT modernization. Experience with g overnance, regulatory compliance, sustainability and ESG standards in the mining and process industry. Soft Skills Technical and consultative leadership, negotiation skills and influence in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments. Strategic vision to connect OT technological innovation to business, safety and sustainability. Clear and effective communication to diverse stakeholders and technical and executive teams. Proactivity, resilience, critical thinking and focus on sustainable and safe results. Differentials / Nice to Have: Technical certifications in OT (ISA/IEC 62443, Certified Automation Professional, Cybersecurity Certifications). Experience with industrial digital platforms, analytics, AI/ML applied to operation. Experience in operations or in large-scale mining. Ability to conduct global projects with multiple teams and stakeholders. Leadership in OT digital transformation projects aiming at sustainability, automation and operational efficiency. Support OT/IT integration, compliance, and governance of critical operations.
