Full Stack AI Engineering & Architecture Manager Apply for the Full Stack AI Engineering & Architecture Manager role at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. Location: São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil Job Function: Technology Product & Platform Management Job Sub-Function: Functional Engineering Job Category: Scientific/Technology Purpose: Drive the solution engineering & architecture and delivery of regional-grade, AI-enabled full-stack solutions. This role combines strategic oversight with technical leadership, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant architectures that leverage modern web technologies and emerging AI frameworks. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the architecture roadmap for full-stack and AI-driven applications. Design reference architectures, reusable frameworks, and integration patterns for cloud-native deployments (AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC). Be responsible for solution design to meet functional and non-functional requirements: scalability, security, compliance, and audit readiness. Guide implementation of LLM-powered features, generative AI, and automation frameworks. Lead engineering squads: review architecture/design, and mentor on best practices. Ensure operational excellence through CI/CD, DevOps automation, and observability. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred. 8+ years in software engineering, including architecture and leadership experience. Expertise in solution architecture for full-stack systems: React, Node.js/Python, relational/NoSQL databases. Expertise in Cloud and DevOps: AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation). Experience with AI/LLM frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) and emerging technologies. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
