Ryz Labs is looking for a skilled Senior Scala Backend Engineer to join a dynamic technology team in the financial industry. This role involves designing and implementing server-side applications that handle complex data and integrate with various systems. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that enhances our ability to provide exceptional financial services. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in backend development with Scala Experience with functional programming and design patterns Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as Akka, Play, or Spring Boot Strong understanding of database management and performant SQL Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating with external APIs Solid understanding of software engineering practices and agile methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills, both written and verbal About RYZ Labs: RYZ Labs is a startup studio built in 2021 by two lifelong entrepreneurs.
