We are hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer for our Professional Services team in Brazil. The Professional Services team creates customized solutions to meet clients\' specific needs, collaborates globally on revenue strategies, and enriches our products for partners. As a Senior Backend Developer & Database Analyst, you\'ll help shape the architecture of new integration products, focus on process automation, and deliver customized reports. You\'ll lead an internal migration to integrate over 50 connectors into a new programming environment. We seek a highly skilled Senior with a leadership mindset who can propose improvements, facilitate communication between technical and product teams, and serve as a reference for the team.

• Serve as a technical reference for an international team, building robust APIs and integrations across systems to ensure successful project implementation.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in backend development and database management.
• Engage in client-facing activities and participate in meetings with Product Managers to map demands, validate scenarios, and gather requirements.
• Drive the creation of detailed reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Oversee data manipulation and transformation according to client preferences.
• Track tasks and document deliverables; identify and implement business and process improvements.
• Monitor business metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Proven experience as a Senior backend developer and in database management.
• Expertise with Git, Clean Code, and development best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB) and dashboards (Metabase).
• Proficient with AWS, containers, and serverless architectures (Lambdas); knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building high-traffic APIs (thousands of requests per second).
• Strong monitoring/observability and KPIs tracking (Datadog, Grafana).
• Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities; English proficiency (advanced/fluent).
• Client-facing skills with experience managing client relationships; international project experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
