Project Commercial Manager

This role oversees commercial and contractual aspects of high-value interior fit-out projects from inception to final account.

A results-driven professional with expertise in contract management, cost control, budgeting, and claims management is required. Strong leadership, negotiation, and commercial acumen skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) and at least 12 years of experience in the industry, including 5+ years in high-end fitout.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the commercial & contractual function from pre-contract to handover
  • Driving profitability through smart procurement, claims, and cost reporting
  • Managing subcontractor contracts, guarantees, and insurances
  • Approving major payments, forecasts, and project financials
  • Leading, mentoring, and growing a top-performing commercial team
