MID-LEVEL FRONTEND DEVELOPER (React / Next.js) ?? Remote · Full-time Contractor (PJ – Brazil) About CodeLeap CodeLeap is a London-based software development agency with a large, remote engineering team in Brazil. We build web platforms, mobile apps, and AI-powered solutions for clients in the UK and Europe. Most projects involve Python / Django on the backend and React / Next.js on the frontend. You’ll work with your teammates in Portuguese, and communicate with clients in English when needed. Our squads are small, fast-moving, and each person has clear ownership of their work. What you’ll do ?? Build reliable, responsive interfaces using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks ?? Contribute to technical decisions and bring new ideas to the table ?? Interact directly with clients to understand their needs ?? Ensure frontend quality, performance, and maintainability ?? Review PRs and help junior developers grow ?? Stay up-to-date with new tools, tech, and best practices ?? Work closely with your squad to solve problems and ship features quickly Minimum requirements 2+ years of work experience as a developer Professional experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks Strong understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript Clear communication and willingness to ask for help Ability to review PRs and give constructive feedback Nice to have (not required) Experience as a tech lead or managing tech teams Fullstack experience, especially Python / Django Fluent English Understanding of mobile + web development Familiarity with AWS Proactive attitude and ownership mindset Strong focus on quality Previous experience with our stack (2+ years) What we offer ??A fun work environment : opportunity to be part of a young and growing company.
