At Halaxia, we are currently seeking a Tax Specialist to join the team of our client, a multinational company dedicated to the manufacturing of household appliances.
We are looking for an innovative professional with strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and long-term vision , someone capable of identifying opportunities, anticipating challenges, and proposing smart solutions to optimize tax burdens and enhance fiscal efficiency.
Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement innovative tax strategies aligned with the company’s financial planning and market trends.
• Analyze the company’s financial statements and results, interpreting tax impacts and identifying optimization opportunities.
• Monitor and anticipate regulatory changes and tax trends to ensure the company is always prepared for future scenarios.
• Partner with departments such as FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), Accounting, and Legal to ensure an integrated approach to tax strategy.
• Identify and explore opportunities for tax efficiency through technology, digitalization, and automation.
• Participate in strategic projects, including the digital transformation of the tax area and the implementation of new tax tools.
• Develop predictive analyses and tax impact simulations under different business scenarios.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s standards and guidelines, minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities within tax compliance.
  
  

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or related fields. A postgraduate degree or MBA is a plus.
• Previous experience in tax strategy, tax planning, or digital transformation in the tax area.
• Strong knowledge of tax legislation, tax compliance, and the tax impact on financial statements.
• Familiarity with data analysis and tax digitalization tools (Power BI, Alteryx, SAP, among others).
• Advanced level of English.
