Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our growing team in Bethlehem, PA
The Employee Benefits Account Executive will manage and expand a book of business by building strong client relationships, overseeing insurance renewals, and delivering tailored benefits solutions. It also includes supporting sales efforts, ensuring compliance, resolving client issues, and staying current on industry trends through ongoing training and collaboration.
How You Will Contribute:
- Manage and grow book of business through networking, referrals, cross-selling, and a strategic growth plan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, carriers, and internal teams.
- Oversee renewal processes and recommend insurance solutions, strategies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance and documentation of sales, renewals, and operations in the agency management system.
- Educate clients on benefits legislation, compliance, and new products during regular visits.
- Identify client needs and develop service plans to ensure satisfaction and high-quality service.
- Resolve client and employee issues, including claims and enrollment concerns.
- Create and present proposals and reports that align with client goals and expectations.
- Support sales efforts, including prospect meetings, onboarding, and strategy development.
- Participate in training, meetings, and teamwork initiatives while staying current on industry trends and adhering to company policies.
- Valid Health, Accident and Life Insurance Producer licenses in good standing.
- Professional Designation specific to area of specialty (preferred)
- College Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience. (preferred)
- 10+ years progressive experience in account management or sales.
- Proficient knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations where business is conducted.
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher.
- Proficient knowledge of the use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machines, etc.)
