THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Senior Data Enginee r for our CARE - Deep Individual Data team in Brazil This is a Remote – Brazil position, meaning you can work from anywhere within the country. Please note that this role is only open to candidates in Brazil.

Join our growing CARE (Coach on Artificial Intelligence for Real Engagement) team at Wellhub and help us build the next generation of AI-powered solutions. This role focuses on organizing and leveraging digital information about users and people to enhance user experience and recommendations.
This project involves collecting user data from various sources in multiple formats (photo, video, text, audio). You will be instrumental in processing, analyzing, and utilizing this data to improve the user experience, user recommendations, business insights, and overall platform quality. Such candidates must be avid learners and be prepared to learn quickly.
We use data and software engineering principles to solve large-scale production challenges. Our infrastructure is completely in the cloud, running many more cutting-edge projects.

YOUR IMPACT

  • You will develop and maintain data models and structures that enable efficient querying and analysis;
  • You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to transform and process large volumes of data from various sources, while adding business context and semantics to the data;
  • You will implement automated data quality checks to guarantee data quality and consistency across the whole data life cycle.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have created robust and scalable data models from business requirements
  • You have worked collaboratively to collect, prepare and analyze complex business data
  • You can engage engineering and product teams to elicit requirements and present solutions to top management
  • Knowledge of data pipeline tools and technologies (e.g., Airflow, EMR, Kafka).
  • You can collaborate with different teams to understand data needs and develop effective data pipelines
  • You are comfortable understanding big data concepts to ingest, process, and make data available for data scientists, business analysts, and product teams
  • You are comfortable maintaining data consistency across the entire data ecosystem
  • You are motivated to contribute to a data-driven culture and see the impact of your work reflected company-wide
