Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Income Interest Rate QA Specialist to join our team and ensure the delivery of functional test automations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both domain and QA technical aspects, with a focus on designing and executing manual and automated tests to streamline the development/regression life cycle in Swaps, Bonds, CDS platforms. Working with QAs, DEVs, BAs and Product Owners you will help drive best automation and manual testing practices in the project. Responsibilities Perform functional, non-functional, and regression testing for fixed income interest rate electronic trading platforms (Swaps, Bonds, CDS). Possess domain expertise on fixed income instruments including interest rate swaps, futures and bonds. Create reusable, maintainable test scripts for both UI and API testing within the existing or new frameworks. Develop and execute API test cases to validate backend services, ensuring seamless integration with the front end component. Create and manage test cases in Xray integrated with Jira, ensuring traceability to requirements and coverage for both UI and API layers. Execute automated tests across multiple currencies and environments. Sync automated test results back to Xray, generating detailed reports. Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. Identify, document, and track defects in Jira while collaborating with developers for resolution. Participate in Agile ceremonies and Scrum process. Ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional, regression, API testing, and integration testing. Regularly review test execution results and coverage reports in Xray/Jira to ensure alignment with project goals. Learn quickly the existing test framework and tests. Experience with Xray API integration from scratch to automatically upload test results to Jira after execution. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git). Strong hands-on experience with QA testing for Investment Banking electronic trading platforms. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience using Jira. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Pro-active planning and individual contribution. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about Fixed Income eTrading platform tests automation, quality assurance and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be part of an elite Agile team operating globally.
