Job Description The role will carry out negotiations and contract for Mars segments, cross regional spends in defined commercial categories. The role's scope will allow the category teams to focus on the most strategic activities. The sourcing of this spend will be aligned to the defined category strategies. What would be your key responsibilities? Negotiating on behalf of Mars organization. Contracting to be aligned to category strategies managed by Commercial team. Providing the first line of escalation on issues between suppliers and the business. Conducting negotiations and supplier relationship management for in scope of Commercial categories and spend thresholds for requisitions. Securing price, capacity & service levels in line with commitments to the business. Ensuring effective risk management of the supply base, through robust contracts and monitoring of financial and other KPIs. Implements corrective actions as appropriate. Establishing & maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and their teams to ensure understanding of their needs and to facilitate the appropriate level of challenge. Ensuring Compliance with policies, systems, and controls. Communicating business risk & opportunity. Providing support to Buyers & requisitioners, other departments and stakeholders. Collaborating with business stakeholders and Commercial leaders on regional level on defining business requirements. Providing insights to category team regarding supplier performance and opportunities within ad hoc purchasing trends. Identifying system process Improvements with systems and process for FE assessment. What are we looking for? Qualifications Bachelor / Master Advanced English proficiency Experience in procurement Skills: Action Planning, Commercial Acumen, Contract Management, Costing and Budgeting, Data Collection and Analysis, Data Control, Negotiation, Planning and Organizing, Policy and Procedures, Verbal Communication Competencies: Balances Stakeholders, Customer Focus, Drives Results, Global Perspective, Manages Conflict What can you expect from Mars?
