  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of the Brazilian podcast market or audio industry, ideally with focus on editorial, curation, or marketing.
  • High degree of agility using content management systems, and technical or operational experience working with RSS feeds and content catalogues; tooling development experience a plus.

  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous deadlines and work streams to execute high-quality deliverables.

  • Passion for building and nurturing strong relationships with existing and new partners.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

As the Senior Podcast Manager, you will collaborate daily with teams across Podcasts, Marketing, Content Acquisitions, Development, and Social, as well as with key leaders to shape vision, strategy, and goals for our podcasts business. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit to try new approaches with minimal guidance and be ready to solve problems proactively. As our lead for Brazil, you will significantly influence how listeners and creators in Brazil and worldwide experience podcasts. This position is based in São Paulo.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with content creators and producers in Brazil.
  • Ensure at least 80% of the Top 200 most listened podcasts in Brazil are represented.
  • Maintain and work to achieve the company's penetration rate goals.
  • Present relevant content options for creating Original and Exclusive Podcasts for Amazon Music and secure necessary agreements.
  • Stay at the forefront of trends and new opportunities in the Brazilian podcast market.
  • Podcast production experience.
  • Passion for internationalization.
  • Previous experience in an Agile environment or relevant training.
